I kept close to home yesterday and hunted the sidewalk ROW of two homes
down the block (I know the owners). I had hunted their yards in the past but never
had time to hit the space between the sidewalk & street.

Aside from a silver earring, some older wheats, and a '46 Rosie, I also found a 1924 "Dog Tax"
tag, a ladies' compact and a pot metal Star Wars figure.

Take care & thanks for looking,

nice digs, Mark!!!!!!!!!!

It's a shame that the mower tore up that old tag..

Did you say Roosevelt Dime ?  ( Rosie )

I'm forgetting what it feels like to dig silver....

Pretty darn good hunt for just down the street.

Rub it in why don't you?? lol, nice finds! I have to agree with Bob, it's too bad the dog tax tag was damaged. I like anything old with a date.

So yeah, a silver Roosevelt. I almost don't believe they exist anymore.

Nice scores! :icon_pirat:

When that baby popped up, I was thinking of you. . . I ALMOST felt like leaving it in the ground. . . not ;D

Tomorrow should be good

Nice finds, Mark! I love that dog tag.

I though they tied it in with Arlington Park with the horse theme, but the track didn't open until '27.

Maybe it was due to it being anticipated, or maybe it was just for good luck.

Dang, I don't know how I missed this one!!! Another great hunt bud - congrats!!!
