HUNTING IN RI

Hey JJS,

I don't live in RI and to be truthful, will probably never step foot in the state, with that aside, check with relatives. I detected my in-laws yard. Their house was built around 1950. I found a nice standing liberty ;) It has a couple of nics on the edge like maybe a lawnmower made contact >:(

Good luck with the hunt ;)

I live in Coventry...

the beaches have always produced fairly well for me. And there are a ton of beaches in RI... from big ones like scarbourough and First beach, to smaller ones like roger wheeler, etc. Also, there are quite a few historical areas (if that's what you're looking for... oh... and there is also rumored to be an old gold mine somewhere in the state if you're into nugget shooting... but you'll probably have to do a lot of historical research and digging to find its location. (And I'm not telling ;D)

school yards are always good as well... and you already mentioned parks. Ball fields... another good spot.
