It's been several years since I posted anything on Tnet. I was without a computer for a while, then I was without a camera along with the fact that I wasn't getting out with my detector much at all. Anyway, I've been out a few times this year and finally got my camera so I took a pic of some of the finds I've made so far this year. A lot of the usual colonial suspects turned up... a few buttons, a boot heel plate, a few suspender buckles, a heavy brass finial, a few pottery and glass pieces that I picked up along the way, a few ornate decorative furniture (I'm assuming) pieces. You'll see a few modern silver coins in there. Six of those were recovered from the same hole (two Washington quarters, two mercury dimes, and two Roosevelt dimes) along with two wheat pennies at a site that was old but didn't stop being used until about 50 years ago. 092.JPG093.JPG094.JPG097.JPG096.JPG095.JPG

Looks like you've been doing a lot of digging and uncovered a nice assortment of finds. You might have some pre-1800 items in there, but the large majority are 1800s or later.

I agree. Some of the sites that we've been to are pre 1800... some definitely aren't. I was a little liberal with the "colonial" word...Lol The copper I found today (no detail) was definitely colonial and my buddy found a pretty nice Fugio at the same site. You've been on a lot of great sites and I enjoy reading your posts. I definitely appreciate the input.
