Hunted with my At Pro at my neighbors again. Most the things I kept where things that weren't metal that came up with dug junk metal. I got a nice farming tool of sorts deep down. Added a few pieces of uranium glass to my collection. Then the creepy porcelain doll came up. Nothing too exciting but I'll take what I can get.

Also I find tons of glass and pottery along with lots of porcelain doll parts.

I'm surprised it is as intact as it is as most things I find here glass and porcelain wise are completely destroyed but abundant. I can dig random holes and find stuff like this all over

Maybe a 4 1/2 0. On the back I'm still trying to figure it out lol

Man if I had a property like that, I’d dig until there wasn’t even an iron grunt. You’re going to find some good stuff in all mess. Did I mention I’d be in Pro Zero Mode? :icon_thumright:

I like the old garden hoe, and the porcelain doll is a $20 bill. Gift it to a lady in your life, they'll love it. Cool finds.

I've been using zero mode in pro. There is a ton of trash so it makes it difficult. My neighbor has the oldest house on the road I live on. I think it dates around 1850. The original house is built over. I was thinking about going under the newer part of the house as it would of been the original yard. I've gone under there and found lots of old bottle part just crawling around down there. I'm not not sure how to swing my coil down there but my gut tell me to give it a try.

The doll has value in the condition it is? I'm not familiar with these type of relics. I find lots of things like it at the property but most are way more damaged then this one. I'm guessing at some point in this houses history a collector lived there. It is a bit of a mystery to me why I find tons of bits of glass bottles and lots of porcelain doll parts.

If you sell on Ebay, it's a $20 or so. A nice bath would do her good. I didn't see any damage. This doll is probably late 1800's, early 1900's. That's how they were made, the remainder of her body was cloth, so it rotted away. Sometimes they had porcelain hands attached. If you remember where you found her, you may find the hands.

I am surprised it survived, the lawn was just all taken out and then rotor tilled. That somehow brought it up without destroying it. I've found a leg that doesn't go with this one and several completely destroyed parts belonging to others. Also thank you for the info I love learning about older items.

Cool Finds!

Great finds, I always love digging those creepy dolls.
It would look great with those pieces of uranium glass taped inside and photographed.
I'm making a wind chime with a bunch of arms and legs.
kudos!
