Yesterday, I hunted just outside of Unadilla NY, along the path of the Old Susquehanna Turnpike. I found four coins only being able to see the date on this one 1787

The copper says Vermon on it , is that not for Vermont?

They were spaced randomly within a total of a 1/4 mile. Right now they are haying the fields along State Highway 357 and a perfect time to go through find targets mark them and then go back and with a smaller coil and make sure they are real targets then dig them.
