Hunting 1780's-era old farmhouse site (demolished ~4 years ago) tomorrow!

Hi all

I'm VERY excited to be hunting this great old farmhouse site in a nice, quite little agricultural town in my area. The site has been nearly untouched or completely untouched since it was demolished. There was no cellar, just a stone wall foundation. Everything was demolished (board were recycled) and basically liberally spread over the site of the house. I remember this house standing for about 13 years prior to it's demolishment.

My question is, what is your experience with these sorts of sites? How far down should I expect to get hits? Any insight as to where to look for potential caches?

Regards,

MT

No idea on caches or depth, but if there was a likely place for a clothes line (between trees, etc) check that carefully. My experience is limited, but I've had quite a bit of luck hitting those first.
