Hunted Two Median Strips....Silver Coins in Both!

San Francisco was a cool 58 degrees today, perfect for detecting!

I hunted the same median strip from last weekend today for 4 and one half hours for only 21 coins, but two of them were mercury dimes! Also dug up 3 wheat cents and a silver ring there! Total silver coins from this median strip now stands at 25!


Took a lunch break and headed to the other side of town and hit another median strip. Hunted this for about 2 hours and banged out a 1909 Barber Quarter in a gopher mound, it was only 2 inches deep! About 20 feet away from the Barber Quarter was a 1895 Indian Head Penny that was an easy hit at 4 inches! I'm on a roll, I've dug 9 silver coins in the last 3 weekends!
