Had the day off today so I decided to hunt a local park that dates back to the 1940's . It's a park that every local hunter has hunted over and over again ! I got lucky last year and found a gold ring in the ball field . You can still find a wheat cent once in a while if you slow down and just listen . Well today I got a whisper of a high tone at 7-8 inches . It came in at +80 , +81 . I was one happy guy when I saw the flash of silver in the bottom of the hole :headbang: . It's just a silver 1946 Rosie but I'll take it at the park :icon_thumright: . Total clad for about two hours was $5.52 .

Thanks Peter ! I know a few of the guys on the California forum have hunted this place a lot , Brian , Bruce and so on ! I believe the Santa Clara club uses this park to help out newbies with their detectors .
