hunted out park - even more silvers

Drove down to hunt with DirtFishDave (219erman) this weekend, we hunted this place a few weeks ago when we got the double trifect. We pounded it hard last time when we pulled 8 silver's from it but we hit it again this time even slower than last time. This time we were swinging like 1 swing every 5 seconds so we wouldn't miss anything. I got all 4 of my silver before dave got his 1st (he made a video so you have to see that to see everything he found, should be loaded sometime today). No signal was a normal coin signal at regular swing speed, thats why we were crawling along at a snails pace. Even then the place was so trashy that we were just digging iffy signals left and right. and at the end of our 8ish hour hunt we both had a mountian of garbage. This was my best wheatie day at 17, the wheats are 1914-1958. The old coins were on average of 4 inches and a max of maybe 5 or 6 inches, I found the rosie in a super super super trashy spot at only 2 inches max. I also found $2.37 in clad. Hope everybody had a chane top get out and hunt this weekend!!!

Congrats on the silver...keep hitting that park.

I love those hunted out parks....I've been hitting a few that the old timers have been hunting for 20+ years and I'm doing very well. Lots of silver, large cents, 2 centers, a hard times token and Spanish cob plus much more. No place is ever hunted out.

I actually had a cop approach me because a few days in a row I hit the same section of this one park that just kept producing. He thought I was staking someone out. I tried to explain but he just was not buying the whole detecting story...lol. He never asked me for ID which was odd. I think he thought I was a federal agent since we have a lot around this city and I'm usually hunting in a shirt and tie.

Sweet silver! Nice job on the finds! I too got out hunting, but it was on monday. JuJu and I went to a Civil War site which we had known about and had given us good finds before. I got a fired civil war bullet and he got an Indian and two Civil War bullets. Anyways glad you guys got out
