They just tore down an old house down the street from me and I went over there late in the evening. Dug several newer coins and a lot of junk but got a good strong next to a tree and out came this! I was tickled to death. In 43 years of digging this is only the second silver dollar that I've ever found. Thanks for looking and thanks to my wife, Julia for taking the excellent pictures. PS- DMan, you could learn a lot from me.....here is my secret: I have a picture of Quindy in my billfold!
:laughing7: :laughing9:

Thanks Donnie. I was so glad you got this. You are the best. This calls for a big ole Hootie Hoo!

Beautiful dollar!!! I am still waiting to find my first silver dollar.

Nice one! I've found dollar coins, but none made out of silver!

Silver dollar............heck, I'm still waiting to find my first silver half dollar. That is a beautiful coin. Wish you many more!

WTG Donnie. That's a good one. I expected you to find some CW bullets & buttons as well. You've done it now-Dman will come down & live with you & Julia-LOL. HH, Q.

Quindy...DMan can live with us anytime. We already have a pet door.:hello2:

Even where the the dirt on that coin was when it was pulled up from the ground only highlighted and accentuated the best part of the face and hair, nice job Tennessee Digger.

Congrats on that beautiful large silver Donnie!!!
I was hoping you found it at "Morgan's" camp. I still haven't dug a silver dollar.
I'll have to try the picture of Quindy in my wallet too. Normally people use his picture to scare away rodents.
I hope I don't have to wait 43 years to dig my first.
Well done,
Doug (not to be confused with Dman)

Thats just awesome, enough said!

This post is classic.

I'm serious but then again I'm kind of sappy about the beauty of old coins since I've never old silver yet( hope to change that soon).:tongue3:
