Brad got us permission to hunt a field where a farm house was tore down a lot of years ago. We are told it was almost 80 years ago.

Brad found a cool "good for 5 cents" token and a real nice 1916 Canadian Silver dime. I found a super nice shape 1900 IH cent, that is my 14th IH cent this year. ;D I would say this is one of my nicest ones for sure.

It was a bit tough to hunt this field since the corn stalks are pretty tall, we plan to make a return visit, there is more goodies for sure!

Great Finds. Looks like a neat place to hunt. Congrats on the "indian".
Keep up the good finds. Doug (blklab)

To be honest, I would have taken the token over the silver and the indian head penny. Tokens are the coolest coins alive next to large cents! Silver is good too! Nice job on the hunt!

going back in the morning if the rain holds off..........supposed to drop into the 40's......I am not ready for winter yet

Great finds, anything on the back of that token? Looks to be an early one.

hit the same field today for 3 hours, was super cold, it is in the 40's and we have high winds, made it much colder. I got skunked..........Brad got an 1894 injun

GREAT FINDS FROM THE FIELD............ARE YOU ABLE TO GET INTO THE FIELD BEHIND YOU THAT LOOKS LIKE SOYBEAN............IF SO LOOK AT THE ROW OF TREES BACK THERE.......IT LOOKS AS IF THERE MIGHT BE A STREAM WITHIN THOSE TREES.
IF SO , LOOK FOR A BENCH WHERE THE GROUND SLOPES TOWARDS THE WOODS. LISTEN FOR IRON AND PLAY THERE FOR A WHILE. MIGHT BE A CPOUPLE OF LARGE COPPERS HANGING AROUND.............GOOD LUCK .....PACO
