And here is what I found.

Found a collar button from around WWI, a shell game token, and a little sterling silver ring that has two arrows pointing at a letter U on the inside like this -->U<-- :icon_scratch:

Two picture plates, one has 3 people on it the other 2.

I found a lot of canning lids & a couple of ceramic & glass lids that go with them.

Part of a spoon & some clad. Was disappointed that we didn't find any silver coins, not even a wheatie! The wife found 2 cents! :(

Those picture plates are sweet. Do they still have a good image? Also what is that coin that says 1929 on it? I'd say thats going to be a good spot......

With the age of those plate's there's gotta be some silver around :icon_scratch: It would probably be worth a second visit.Glad you two got out :)

You sure have a good spot there. Just because you didn't find silver this time will not mean you will not find it later just keep on pounding that area and I sure it will start showing up....Matt

Nice finds,

I have a printing plate like that one found a few months back. Looks like elvis presley on mine. I have some silver rings with the same makers mark on the inside. Looks like a decent site to hunt.

Thanks buddy, you find some pretty neat stuff too.

MM,

Regular graphics programs have a "negative" feature. A lot of these can be found free on the internet. I have PhotoStudio on my HP computer as well as Microsoft Photo Editor. It's fun playing around.

Awesome post, the finds are just great!!! Those picture plates, daguerreo (spell) types maybe? Rare finds. HH, Mike

The crossed rifles are U.S. Army branch insignia for Infantry. As for the age, anyones guess. I love the Crossed Rifles but I hate having to polish them. The photo thingy thing is real interesting.
