Hunt with oxbowbarefoot

Got out Sunday for the day with Oxbowbarefoot to my button site. Just the usual finds nothing special but its always good getting out. We had about the same finds. 1843 LC, some buttons, a buckle, and an ox know. A bit different than the usual ones I find. Didn't spend too much time around the cellar hole most was random walking through the old fields.




The next photo was from a quick hunt I did this morning in my back yard. Again nothing special. 1803 LC, 1910 v nickel, and some buttons. Ive spent a lot of time in there but it's being logged and the skidder is tearing up the soil bringing stuff with it. I think ill be spending some more time in there soon. Hopefully more to come.

Nice shoe buckle. I can't believe you haven't hammered your yard to death with finds like those! I haven't been able to ID that odd coin I found yet, but when I get home I will try to get some pics and add them to this thread. Thanks again for taking me up (my legs aren't too thankful though).

Those are nice pieces! Your going to come up with some fantastic finds when the skidder is done! I usually take my Ibuprofen before I start hunting, seems to help more with the after effects.
