Warmed up here a little so I was able to get out with my 9yoa granddaughter. I swung the detector and she was the recovery crew. She got good with the pinpointer. Ended up with a hand full of change, 2 wheaties and a cheapo small brass pad lock. The little lock was the biggest hit. She wants to go back out tomorrow. Life is good!

Our 10 year old granddaughter arrives in a few weeks I have a Tesoro compadre (thanks fellow t-better for the advice) waiting for her! Time I spent with my grandpa rock hunting are some of my fondest so we are going to make some memories one penny at a time:icon_thumright: congratulations on your granddaughter ‘s finds!!

Good luck with your gdaughter!

Enjoy, nothing better than creating great memories with your grandkids!

my five and three year old grandsons start off pretty excited about finding coins but then the worms and grubs get the better of them. I have a five year old grand daughter that gets excited when she sees the detector, she is into the money part of it plus they loves the bling that we find. all of the smaller ones love the hot wheels and matchbox cars we find. awesome job, keep her excited and outside doing something worthwhile. :icon_thumleft:

Creating memories with loved ones is the best treasure you can ever hope to find!
