View attachment 1314162Found this in a trash pile I've been working for a while. I actually tossed it the first time thinking it was a rusty pan of some sort a year or so ago and just yesterday decided to move the pile so I could dig under it.
After a closer look I noticed the shape and rim. Made of thin medal and no markings about the size of a football. Not much left of it after being exposed to the elements. Here's a pic of a WWl helmet that closely resembles what's left of this one if that's what it is.
