Hello,

today I would like to show you my latest findings from central europe.

The first one looks like a lead-seal.
On the one side there is written:

T. SZT.
MIKLÒSI
GÖZMALOM

What I've found out is, that the acronym "szt" could stand for "szent" (hungarian) - holy.

=>
T. -> ?
SZT. -> Szent
MIKLòSI - Maybe the city? - I couldn't found anything about a city called szent miklosi
GÖZMALOM -> Steam-mill

On the other side there are to initials (?):
F.K.
- Maybe this could be the initials of the mills owner?

The diameter is approx. 1,7 cm with a weight of 9 g.

The second finding - from the same hole is some kind of a bell.
Around the side there are several round holes.
The top is missing.

Can someone help me out if no. 1 is a seal - and what it has been used for, and if no. 2 is a bell?

Diameter: approx. 4cm, height: 3cm.

Thanks in advance

Contestant #2 appears to be the burner from an oil lamp.
Can't be of help with #1.

Thanks for your reply Swartzie.
I think you are right. There is evan a gap on the top of the "bell" which looks identical to the one you posted. Perfect - Thanks!!! :)
Is there an approx. timespam when those lamps were made?
