From the land of the Bluenose.....half a day off and I had all the domestics done so I was out the door like a seagull after some dropped garbage. Needed a few bucks for Tim's so I thought a local school yard would fill the bill. Was flat broke having went on a spending binge last pay with the overtime buying a deep fat frier, air conditioner and a portable dvd player, Of course $170 for an Elton John ticket helped but I don't begrudge Marie getting it!
Noticed on the way that another group were on the war path with their canoes!
Quick me son sign a treaty and make the lakes safe for a swishing!
So I hit the school and did well enough for my Tim's fix till payday finding a key, fun zone token, earing and 74 coins @ $14.90
Loaded with fresh dirty money to spend at Tim's it was time to get ready for another day of work on another of my days off. Slumming this time at the south gate.
Recently my work made it so that no matter what extra job you are doing you get paid at the job you are regularly at which is great and makes saving for that winter vacation a tad easier!
Love this job about once a month as it affords me the opportunity to catch up on my stamp trading mail and other letters and watch this little gipper visit.
Didn't know till Leo told me that they are the only bird that has a reverse gear.....neat!
Lots of construction going on at work as they are building a parkade with ped ways to the terminal and in 2010 a Sheraton Hotel will grace the area.
Well the sunset came and this bouy nestled down for a long night shift.
