I found this incredibly heavy iron piece, and I wondered what it is. Is it a old tractor weight or something else? Thanks! CA55238F-E157-4366-82A6-B7E1A15D7BAA.jpeg

Could you hold it up over your head and get a few shots from the bottom ?

I tried, but it is too heavy to place over the head, I would crush my head, so I took pictures from the bottom and top. Thanks 45337577-502E-414F-A5E4-46AB9935275C.jpegF98AF333-ACA8-4B61-8A9F-3F8B82762FE4.jpeg

Now let's figure out what it is.

Dang, there's a lot of tractor models out there ... not my field.
Real quick, this one does look like you're on the right track.

Thanks for the responses. I tried looking for tractor weights similar to this, but none exactly match it. No paint remains it seems. The suggestion about railroad usage is interesting, but the nearest railroad line is far distance away. Just because the area I searched has an agricultural past, makes me think its probably a tractor part. If any one else has any suggestions, they'd be much appreciated. Thanks as always!

I'm thinking I have seen those around railroad parts but can't positively tell you what part it is. Never seen any tractor weights like that.
