My friend took the day off work and we headed to a large lake in South East Idaho with a big sandy beach, very popular with the folks from Utah. My friend was using the Equinox 600 with a 6 inch coil. This was the second target he dug, knee deep water, 14K with 7 diamonds. He also got a junker ring. I was using my Tiger Shark with the 10.5" coil and I got a stainless steel junk band, a very small gold plated junk band, and the worst sunburn I have had in a long while. I was digging pull tabs at 12", just not lucky this time I guess. Maybe next time. HH

I was in pain driving home, from my legs that were on fire, butResized_20190814_151428.jpg also from my buddy waving that ring around. He was in a good mood.

The ring is the type of find that I am looking forward to finding when I finally master my new Minelab Excalibur. While the beach and shallow ocean gets so much attention, there must be a lot of finds waiting in the quiet waters of lakes and streams as well. Save something for me! Meanwhile, good luck with the sunburn.

Honker there. Great find
