Howdy all! Thought I would tell y'all a little about myself. I am from Kentucky originally, but now live in Jacksonville, NC. I have been on a 6 year "hiatus" of sorts from the hobby, and just recently got back into it. I used to swing a Whites Spectrum XLT but it was stolen back in 2007. Man, I loved that machine, and always had a great time using it. Anyways, I had other financial priorities at the time, and did not want to "downgrade" to a cheaper detector so I just never bought another one....until recently that is. My wife wanted me to get off the couch and get outside so I decided that I would buy a new detector. I just bought a Minelab Explorer SE Pro about two weeks ago and have started hunting again. It is a frustrating machine so far but I have heard nothing but great things about it and have also heard to be patient. So, I am "patiently 
working with it and am kinda, sorta, maybe 
getting used to it. Anyways, if you live near Jacksonville, NC and can teach me a thing or two about the Explorer or just want to go out and hunt give me a hollar. Happy hunting all!
