Hey everyone, I'm Marc... I created this place.
My treasure hunting bio: I was digging for treasure in my own back yard at 5, I started detecting when I was 13... (I'm 40 something now) I published the South Texas Treasure Hunters Club newsletter for a few months. (when I was 14 I think) My first detector was a Bounty Hunter TR500... I've done a lot of searching... I've used aerial near infrared photography, ground penetrating radar... magnetometers... among other things.
In short, treasure hunting can be quite an adventure!

For the record, I created TreasureNet out of the frustration of having found a real treasure, only to open my big mouth to attorneys and other questionable characters.

Anyway, a lot of people have met and a lot of treasure hunting has taken place through TreasureNet, my hope is that can continue for years to come.
