Howdy from a Newbie

Hey y’all, I just wanted to let you know that I’m a newbie. I’m located in Denton County, Texas which is just northwest of Dallas. I’m not new to detecting, but have been out of the hobby for a number of years. I just purchased a Minelab Equinox 600, I’m looking forward to getting out and swinging it.

Alas, a memory I regret. I was stationed in El Paso in '67 - '68. Went home to Virginia for Xmas, was going to drive my '64 Mercury Comet, but 3' of snow and I couldn't get it out. Being young and dumb = stupid, I stole my cousin's '57 Chevy and drove back to El Paso. I didn't make it. Blew the engine and left it in Denton, TX. I'd prefer to not remember Denton, TX.....

Don.t remind me about ‘57 chevys. When I went to Vietnam I left my 57 silver convertible with my brother and he sold it. I have not had very many conversations with him sence then. The car was only 13 years old.
