how would you fellas feel about a New, more refined, HOTTER, DEEPER F75??

Quick someone do a head to head
I saw the add it said Only available for the holiday season.
If its better than org F75 why would only sell it for a few moths ?

The add also substantially deeper under most conditions.
How deep is that .
I say at least 2.5 inches with the same coil would do it for me
How about you.

For years with all the claims of deeper....deeper....deeper, from various detector manufactures, it seems we ought to be down about 30 feet on a dime with a 7" coil. I would like to see better....better....better target ID. The nickel-jewelry-pulltab delima has gone on since the begining! Just my thoughts!

I hear ya LX....

it seems the hotter the new machines get.the worse the Id accuracy is. I watched exactly that with whites machines for years. My origonal black Box 6000 had SUPER Id accuracy. every offering from white since then has been worse and worse in that capacity, but it seems to be the norm nowadays with most machines. More depth is VERY much desired for relic hunters even if the ID's are so so. I think the undisputed king right now in the ID arena is still the High end minelabs. Streak!

I dont care to much about ID if it sounds good im digging
This is what the Minelab guys are doing. Many don't worry about the ID as it is mostly worng anyway. It is the newbies that need it. :laughing7:

It'd sure be nice if they can upgrade the software on the older F75's.

I'm hearing its in camo with a two coil combo(11"dd and 5"dd). Supposed to be a whole new beast that is amazing. Enough different that it might even take some practice to learn it. As long as it kicks Minelab butt.

It's the oldest sales technique in the book. A good sales pitch not only creates desire, a good sales pitch creates urgency. So they call it a limited edition only sold for a limited time. Gives you that feeling that you better buy it now or you won't get one. And I'm not ripping on the detector or the company. It sounds like a really sweet detector! They not only make fine detectors they got some people doing really effective marketing too. And think about this let's say they make a relatively small number of detectors that won't satisfy the demand when reports roll in and people find out how good they are. All they have to do is crank out the exact same detector but change the cammo motif to a different color scheme and bam! it's a different detector and the limited edition claim would indeed be the truth.

Camo?

Why would you buy a detector you are gonna lose if you set it down? :laughing7:

I'm sure it's a great machine, but the company shills are forum jumping again trying to hype it up. Let it speak for itself.

Company advertises new model-consumers buy it based on previous company record-consumers report their results on numerous forums-others decide to buy or not to buy based on results and other factors. Not from people who may get a unit to test, very often free, and hype it as the deepest, best discriminating, iron see through (which doesn't exist), fastest, lightest, bla, bla, bla unit on the market. Read the forums a little bit. Same names always hyping the same brand. I didn't start this hobby yesterday.
