Great link. Thanx for posting. After reading that, I think someone who wishes to detect in Russia, and has any ounce of common sense, can avoid any trouble whatsoever. Ie.: it sounds like the ONLY way you'd get into trouble there, is to wear neon yellow, and go waltzing about during an archaeologist convention boasting of the 100+ yr. old coin you just found.

And let's take a show of hand here: How many people think the legions of growing md'r enthusiasts there are *only* finding "meteorites and the keys they just lost " ? I mean, sheesk, are they making this too easy or what ?
