How to easily claim a stake?

Hello all...

Can someone please give me the easy steps to claim freed up BLM land to mine here in Idaho? The BLM website it nearly impossible to navigate. There has to be an easier way to see available land and process mining paperwork/fees? Your assistance is greatly appreciated and respected!

Chip like your first rodeo, the first claim you stake is not easy. There’s a learning curve that only you can navigate unless someone is willing to hold your hand.

Read up on the process then ask specific questions.

I made a post about this a while back. But just get aquatinted with township, range, section and quadrants, look up existing claims with the county to see maps, and go from there.

Learn Public Land Survey System first it will make LR2000 a lot easier, go to local BLM field office and the county recorder.

learn what you can, there is a learning curve takes time to learn the ins and outs,
might have someone help you the first time, there are also people that locate claims that also offer location services,
where they do the research, paper work for a place you have located.
some that have locating services don't advertise, but are really good like armadillo mining.
