[HOW TO] Change Thread Subscription Notifications

To change the way you get notified on subscribed threads simply click on the Settings link on the top right corner.

Then click on the General Settings link in the left side panel:




Then click on the Default Subscription Mode pulldown menu:




Select how you would like to be notified. Please keep in mind, this will only affect subscriptions on future threads. If you need to modify your notification preferences for threads you are already subscribed to, see instructions below.

If you would like to update the subscription notification type for threads you are already subscribed to, you need to go to Quick Links -> Subscribed Threads. You will see all the threads you are subscribed to, there many be multiple pages of them.

In order to select the threads you want to change your subscription for you need to put a check in the box in the far right hand column for each thread you intend to change. You can accomplish this easily by checking the box at the top right hand corner of the right hand column labeled: Notification.

This selects all of the threads on the page.



Then you need to scroll down and look for the Menu box labeled: "Selected Threads"

Once you click on this, a menu will pop up giving you the different notification choices to use on the threads you have selected. Please select the type of notification you want and then click "Go".



This should change your notification preferences for all the threads on this particular page. You will need to do this for each page of subscribed threads.
