How short is too short?

Wanting to shorten my bh101. My daughter is wanting to go with me but she only 7 and my machines are to long for her. I was thinking about drilling a couple of extra holes to shorten it a little more but not sure how it will effect the operation. Any ideas?

Shouldn't affect the operation at all! I would go ahead and drill the holes as you can always return it to the original position!
