It looks alot like a Manoil soldier from the early 20,s . Are there any markings on the base ?

It looks like Manoil because of the green base and leggings...Manoil Co., Waverly, New York, started producing toys in the early 1930's. There should be a number on the base or back of him.

I agree, it looks like a Manoil Soldier...but also looks like one that was a Guidon Bearer (one who carries the company flag). I was one in Bootcamp and our hand would be up that high holding the flag pole, even though the majority of the time, my hand was more chest level in the standing position. Nice find!!!!

RK, I Dug This One About A Year Ago, It Is Complete, Except For Some Paint Loss, But I Can't See Any Markings On It. trk5capt...

NIce catch, GH! It is indeed a Barclay... the 711 Drum Major, Short Stride, dating 1935 or later.
