there is a shop that has been doing all sorts of renovations and they have many surplus vintage tools, when i looked in the scrap bucket i found this and asked the shop operator i found it in there, he said i could have it, i really like the greyish black patina finish of the metal and how the logo was bright red (May repaint the chipped areas) , also i'm really into vintage typography and logos of certain styles and this fits the bill for me, i did a bit of research Progress is fine, but it's gone on for too long.: Vanished Tool Makers: J.H. Williams & Company, Brooklyn & Buffalo, New York and a similar logo was made in 1943 and some very advertised but arn't williams but there are experts for everything, so how old is this tool, the shop was built in the 1960s and this is probably it's first big purge,
