Well, I figure it's slightly newer than 1975. Because that is MY first detector! (RS), I remember it very, very well! I bought it new for Christmas. THEN, I couldn't use it until MARCH!!! LOL Ground was frozen solid! It worked, I don't remember what my first find was though. I DO remember that I had to learn to swing with a finger on the tuning knob so I could keep it tuned in enough to be effective! LOL Swing, tune, swing tune, swing tune.... LOL
Don't remember it costing that much though.

A wonderful find!!

Thats funny Whadifind. I had it out on the deck, with some change, and seemed pretty squirlie, must have been a work out!! Thanks for the info. HH

Had the same one as a kid! Remember hunting around a friend's, father's repair shop that was once a one room school house. Think the only thing we found was a hand made/forged lenght of chain and some pennies (newer ones at the time as this was in the late 70's early 80's). Cool find! Same thing WHADIFIND said.....don'r remember that it cost so much but I believe it was a birthday present......come to think of it.....it may still be in my parents attic or basement! Gonna have to do some exploring next time I'm up there!
