Geat Seal of US button. I believe before WWII and after. Worth about 10 cents. I bought 2 bags full for a buck.

Thanks bigcypresshunter,
I thought by the number of stars it was easy to determine the age.
-I bought 2 bags full for a buck..... Oh yeah - you made a big deal ! :coffee2:

This button has been used by the US Army since 1902 and is still used today. It might be 106 years old - it might be newer.

Only the back mark can help determine it's age. (Maybe)

Yours may be different. What is the backmark? Maybe someone can ID my backmarks while we are on the subject. ;D

How big is it? I think that may be a U.S. Army enlisted man's cap badge, rather than a general service button.

I think PBK is correct, as usual. PBK has 99.999% correct ratio.

Can you date my button backmarks?
