WELCOME to the forum! What you have is a 'Frozen Charlotte' (or Charlie). They were popular between 1850 to around 1920. Most were made of china or bisque, but more rare ones were made in stoneware. Actually, half of the doll would be in stoneware and the other half glazed china, so it would float in bath water. Judging by the pics, yours appears to be stoneware, but I really can't tell without seeing it in person or closer pics. Neat find :thumbsup: Breezie
