How old is this ring?

I found these items at a very old house? The ring is copper that is gold plated with what looks to be amber in the center stone? How old is it? The button I think; has am H on it but upside down looks like an M. It does not have a back. Any idea on the age. The last thing someone said looks like an ear ring. The two peaces look like they used to be attached that was the way I found them in the hole I think. What is it?

I believe that ring is last quarter 19th century based on design, patina, and materials.
