its one of those old Chinese coins. you can date them by what emperor they had at the time. your look like its from the early 1800's. :-\

Jeff of PA - I thought you were joking - as in - "Cha Ching! I hit the Jackpot." Seemed so out of character for you --- took me a while figure out it was legit.

I have found hundreds of these and cant say I have one that worn!Thats pretty neat.Most date to the 1700's,and most are not worth much either,although a few are.Its going to be difficult to accurately date it with what you have given,or can be seen,the slightest little "leg",on a character can be a difference.Hikeinmtns on here is a pro at them though

hey thanx jeff of pa. ithink its the 23 mm version although it only measures 22.6. one spot bulges out onthe edge an is not smashed. there it measures 23.34.

Greetings, another similar find posted in short period of time!
the z in the top character on 2nd image (obverse) leads me to believe it is a chien lung 1700s
the first photo is reverse & needs to be rotated 180 degrees.

Nice find! these coins don't seem to generate as much interest as other Colonial eras :thumbsup:
