I tried to find something, Gold Boy. Unfortunately, you put eagle, and phila into your search, you know what's gonna come up, and it ain't an old brass button. Sorry.

Just a guess, but if you try "Eagle Work Clothes" you get quite a bit of information. I suspect that is what you button is from.

Goldboy-
I think I can solve this one... I have found a few different suspender snap buttons from a 1912 logging camp among the brands I found was “Eagle” but most of my other suspender buttons say the work “Make”CC3675F1-6C58-4B5C-8178-9E865BC409BF.jpeg
“Capital Make” “Chester Make” “Crown Make” The “RG” one still has the Leather end attached

I also found ads from 1856 that mention your particular brand “Eagle” 7A27B3DE-D534-4F5F-9D30-D32608F04612.jpeg
I think your button is from the early 1900’s. Here is a 1912 add from “Eagle”9EC17089-BEBD-4BC8-877E-1734FC9299FE.jpeg
