Holy cow,....nice collection to build on. Try to find out the region they came from and it would be worth a respectable bid. I leave it to the more knowledgable of us to name a figure.

Nice Points! can we see them more spread out it is hard to tell by the picture just what you have
there.

Hey Blackdog
Welcome to t-net.
Looks like some good points and blades in there mixed in with some brokes and field grade stuff. I would only try to put a value on the whole items. If you can spread them out these guys on here are pros and can help ya out. Good luck.

Like the others said, the broke stuff has little value, and its hard to tell from the pic what alls there. I thought I did see a decent paleo peice there. From what I saw, most of the complete points would prolly be 15-20 dollar points. You can go to arrowheads.com and check out what points sell for. You'll need to check out several of the sellers though, because some of them are preposterous in price, while others are pretty fair.

Look over the better pieces when you are at the auction, if they've been stored and moved with the axe and celt in a cloth bag you'll probably have some 'box dings' from pieces banging against each other. A couple of fresh dings on a piece can drop the value quite a bit (a $20 piece becomes a $5 piece.)

If that picture was on eBay, I probably wouldn't go over $75 or so (at that price it wouldn't take but one or two semi-decent points to recoup that.)

Thanks for the remarks, there is going to be a preview on Moday, I'll try to spread some of them out & sneak a picture & then post it Monday night. These are from central Virginia.

I agree it would be nice to see those points with some breathing room between them. I could give you a good idea if you can take another picture. Can't believe someone just threw all those in a bag. Any idea what county they're from.

the point in the far bottom right looks like it might be a good one "early", black n browish
