Well: Victor is a great company and their products are second to none.... But I think that you might have a little difficulty in getting your price of $450.00. And the cost of rebuilding them might push your price of purchase to an unrealistic level. That being said, good luck with them

Hello, I have never done what I am about to suggest, but if the price of being rebuilt is prohibitive, I think you could post these on eBay with the heading "steam punk" something or other and do quite well, better than your $10 investment. Good luck with these. T.

Ebay price ??? About $39 plus shipping and that's IF you can find someone who wants them as decoration cause the rebuild cost to make them "safe" will be expensive . I think all you'll get is the " steam punk " value and you'll be luck to even double you money after your fees . These are very common and the hole set up you showed in the picture can be purchased today for less that $250 new for both if you know who to talk too .... you'll make your money back for sure but your way to high on the $450 ... IMHO ,

i mean 450 if you bought them new i had a victor torch rebuilt for 70 bucks just dont know if these are worth it the steam punk thing is a good idea thanks for the info

Knowing that they need to be rebuilt, this is the type of item that I'd take to a flea market and ask $5 each, and if they didn't sell, I'd scrap them.

You're right those things are certainly expensive new. IF you list them on ebay make sure you list the regulator type, it will be something like CGA 580, which let's the buyer know which gases it's compatible with.

The steam punk recommendation is a good one, that stuff sells on ebay like crazy. I would love to see some of these peoples houses! OR you could always have them rebuilt yourself, and sell them as like new
