Got to love that walk, I was on the hunt to day at a house site that I got a 1944 out off this year.

These just do not come easy! Especially, the old ones.
Definitely some bad dirt hiding this lovely lady. I believe it was a mix of clay and iron and possibly some sand as well below it or off to the side.
And, on edge for sure.
Ok, I'll stop now. I have my last hunt to post anyway, but not near as glorious.
