I bought 20 1oz gold eagles last year and will be looking to sell them soon. They are in BU condition . I also have 500 2009 silver eagles I wish to sell at the same time. I was wondering WHAT PREMIUM OVER MELT VALUE THE EAGLES ARE WORTH. I know it will be hard to sell the gold coins as most people like the silver eagles better. I guess I should have got just silver I am sure this will be a costly mistake but at least I learned my lesson. I also figure with all the rumors going around about gold prices set to rise it would be a good time to unload the gold eagles at today's price.

Well i will take a stab at it..

THe 1oz GAE i would ask 1050 - 1100 each.. And i dont think you would have ANY problems getting that.. Here is a link for ungraded GAE in a lot of 5 for 5600 and sold.. thats 1120 each.. sure you have to get suckbay there fee's but still should come out really good..

On the silver eagles.. Easy 20 bucks each.. hands down..

Hope this helps ya out..

here is that link..

Scientific fact, that Gold is rare in the Universe. For every atom of gold there are 1 million atoms of Iron and 1000 quadrillion dollars.

Which do you think is harder to come by and has more value, gold, iron or the dollar?
