Great park Chris lots of goodies for you!

Did you take that pic before the little lady picked her prize?

Last year was a no gold ring one for me! Sigh.

Chris,

Since I do only land hunting I've never found more than 1 at a time....I had managed both gold and silver in the same hunt many times though.

somewhere between 3 & 5 in one day
I think that was in 1999/2000
First year with my Sovereign

tuff to remember exact numbers but I think I found 40ish that year

was a drained lake that had a swimming beach in the 30's thru 60's

bad thing Gold wasn't worth Squat compared to now, (about $250 an Ounce ???)
so I got pennies for the ones I couldn't return

I'm looking forward to hitting it this EARLY spring(before sports start there). Yes I did on the pic,I ended up with the middle one:tongue3:.There is a good side to this MDin thing.....I NEVER have to buy Her jewelry.:laughing7:

As far as no gold for you(yet)....never forget,it's there...all you have to do is look for it,I sure would like to see your face when you pop a plug and see the SHINE...be some words with it too.:laughing7:

Chris,

So true about digging up gold....I've probably dug about 30 gold rings all on land and it always brings a smile to my face....

Bill,

The only thing I don't like is getting a chain marked 14K ITALY,it sure gets the old juices flowing ......which turns out to be FAKE!

My favorite experience was, I got so used to digging Class rings almost daily at times,
That by sound I knew there was one in the mud under my Coil.

& the Sweetest thing was the occasions I would push my bare hand in the thick Mud
and my Finger would slip nicely inside the rings :laughing7:
The Smile I felt inside was always Aaaaaaaaaaa! :laughing7:

Nice looking rings Chris  I have only ever found them one at a time, but the oldest was 1800 years old.:laughing7:

My record is 5 gold rings in one day. A buddy of mine's record is 7 in one day. And I've heard of 12-ish in one day. These were all CA beach storm erosion day takes.

One at a time. It appears I've been in the woods to long.
Great finds and continued success.
Peace ✌

Two, and they were 5 minutes apart, in a 2 hour hunt. Unfortunately they are also 50% of my total gold catch :tongue3:

5 is my max in one hunt, I know there are others who found many more...

What do the rings come up at on a whites?

3 gold rings and the one cross one day...the next day at same location found the 3 silver rings and 2 class rings that were neither gold or silver, the silver basketball, and the other cross.
The cross on the left was silver and the other one not.

Found these 5 rings in the same hole....only one of them was gold...the one on the left.

Found these 2 rings about 18" apart. When I was swinging the coil I got 2 beeps. Dug the diamond ring first....and thought it couldn't get any better than that.....checked the other beep I had heard and out popped the nice class ring. Hadn't been at the field for more than 15 minutes. It was a good day. This pic is featured in the sept. Garrett's newsletter.
