Well i begain with 2 boxes Then 4 then 8 then 12 ..24 ... Next week i think it may be about 46 to 52 Its hard to time it all. Most banks want them picked up the day they come in. Yea well i only get 2 from each bank!!! And its all done the end of the week.My work is a little slow so why not! I love the hunt. The hardest thing is the lazy tellers. Good luck to all Tim Zim :whip2:

I think you are THE hauler here. 50 boxes. wow. Good luck on the barbers!!

If you can dump it, go for it. I would highly discourage you from trying to increase your dumping to that scale without using more branches.

If you can dump 50 boxes of halves without any major issues I applaud you. I can't even imagine dumping that volume. That is over 1000lbs of coins. I'm guessing you have a system where you drop-off filled coin lok bags. If your using the coin counter approach with that much you clearly either have some outstanding bank relationships or you don't care how your banks will react.

I thought 14 boxes a week was a lot!!! :tongue3:

I am suprised you only order 2 boxes per bank... I would not increace my volume, there's a point where too much becomes TOO MUCH.
My 2 wheat cents- play it safe with the dump banks, don't overburden them. With your volume, you probrably can't afford to lose a dump bank :)

I hope you get more silvers than last batch. If I were to search 52 boxes, it would likely be a complete bust for me :BangHead:

You'd bette reinforce the shocks on your vehicle. I hope you have a lot of Penny Arcades in your area... Once you start recognizing coins you've already searched, you may want to take a road trip to dump. I know that idea won't be popular, especially if you dump in other hunters territories, but you may wind up checking the same coins over and over again. You will be a silver vacuum though, good luck!

go for it !

50 boxes is about an average week for me. Just make sure you have plenty of banks to spread out the dumps and pickups.

In my experience its best to order from the same bank 2-3x a week vs. one huge pickup, same with dumps. Vault space is limited and armored carriers have limits on delivery and especially bags per day they will pickup from the branch.

Everyone's situation is different.

It's too much when you hit one or more of the following limits:
1) You run out of cash to buy coins (pickup/dumping strategies could impact this)
2) There isn't enough time in your day to search the number of coins you pick up. (work, significant others, children, and other hobbies or interests can greatly influence this)
3) You have reached the limit as to the number of boxes that all banks will order for you that you can pick up each day/week/month (within the distance you are willing to commute to pick up boxes).
4) You have reached the limit as the number of dumps that banks are willing to take from you each day/week/month (within the distance you are willing to commute to dump them)
5) It's no longer fun and instead viewed as a chore or work....after all it is just a hobby.

And I am sure others could come up with some other limits as well.

You will will know your limit soon enough

My bank acts like I took their first born, if they have to come out to change one bag on the coin counter.

6) When you no longer have room in your trashcan for your cardboard trash ( good thing I can burn my trash ).

Man, I'm impressed with that level of volume. I have plenty of order banks where I could get 50 boxes a week but dumping would be a whole different story.

Good luck!

Hope all 50 are stacked
