My Dad and i used to search a spot that was the training grounds for the local militia 30 years ago and one day dad found 2 "chicken colonel buttons".For years i would go there from time to time in hopes of finding one also. One Mothers day about 3-4 years ago i planted some Lilly's on my moms grave,so afterwards i went to the site detecting.I got out of the car and was firing up my detector and noticed a pach of Lilly's.So i thought i would start there.I immediately got a good signal and proceded to dig 3 of the buttons one right after the other ! I have sence found a total of i think 10.I have sold one, traded one and given away 4.I also found an 1806 1/2 real there but thats another story ! Darn camera is acting up,I posted a picture of some of the buttons in the relic section if you want to see one Thank's HH All !
