Had an issue come up yesterday where I needed some quick cash, so I grab up some the gold I have found with my metal detector and went to a company called C.D. Clark and I was told all of it was 10K and I had 24.25 in pennyweights and was given $239.00. While I was there I had the girl weigh a gold nugget ring/12 diamonds I had on and it came up 16 pennyweights and I remember a couple of months ago asking a pawn shop what would be the loan value on this same ring and he said $350.00. Now am thinking the pawn shop would have been a better place to sell this scrap gold, I know this company has to make a profit but did I get at least 50% of its worth?

The fine gold value is about $336. I think I pay pretty good (based on tests I have taken at many local jewelry stores) I would have offered less than $239, it is a business.

Cash4Gold would have sent you a check for $45 :laughing9: Next time you need a good refinery go where I do. Takes about a week and a half but they are honest. Most of that time is the mail two directions.
