Hello everyone,

I've been lurking on the site for a while, enjoying all the posts and information available. It is not often that one can come to a place where it is actively encouraged to fuel those childhood dreams of becoming a real-life treasure hunter.
I live in Texas and am a new very proud father of a baby girl. So, it is not as if I have any free time but I've been dreaming of doing all kinds of treasure hunting for a few years now, but haven't made my way into the field quite yet. One of these days soon I'm going to gear up for some gold prospecting and gem hunting, and then on from that some underwater searches, and then from there... Well, perhaps one step at a time right?

Anyway, I look forward to participating and happy hunting everyone!
