I am sure there is an expensive machine that does it, but is there any tricks to get the wire out of BX conduit?
I have some from out of the ground and it is rusty and dirty. Pulling with pliers is a disaster. I thought I could cut it in sections and pull it but it is really tight. Also do the yards take it as #2 copper if you take it in as is? Thanks!

I use a pair of tin sheet metal snips. cut about every 1 or 2 and pull some out. Sometimes the conduit is steel and or aluminum. I noticed that one yard does not give the sheet aluminum price but a lower price for bx. Not good. Later.
