At the end of your post, at the bottom is a blank that says "Attach" with a button next to it that says "browse", hit "browse" select your pic and there you go! be sure not to hit "Preview" or you will have to repost your pic! one more thing, pics must be smaller than 128k or they wont post! Good Luck! HH omnicognic 8)

Hey thanks omnicognic, I really appreciate the info, right now I've got to go to "is there anything good to be found at less than 6" " and post an anchor, lol. HH Gooddog

In the selection of buttons above the box where you compose your post, there is a button with a camera on it.? Click on that and put the URL for the location of your photo in between the two codes that will be printed in your post.? They will be brakets [] with the words img inside the one that leads your url and /img following.? Try clicking on the camera and you will see what I mean.? ?Don't leave space between the url address and the codes.? ?

Or, simply type the codes in.? Note that there is a / before the img in the trailing code.? ?

I haven't posted anything to this location so I don't know how that works.? Some board hosts allow members to post images and files to their servers. Be kind though and liimit the sizes of your images so that you don't use up excessive storage space. I host all my photos myself on my ISPs FTP space that I am allotted.? ?I use AOL and that would be Hometown or members.aol.com.? ? Check the instructions with your provider for how to host your images. One of the good parts of hosting your own images is that you can remove them, change them or manage them yourself. Note that if you delete or purge or alter a photo from your FTP it will change or dissappear from all the posts which you have posted it. I am allotted a certain amount of space from AOL where I can store files.? Most ISPs will offer you some space with your account so check that.?

Save memory by storing your images as .jpg? ? Also, limit the size of your images to no more than 640pixels wide so that they fit on a page without needing to be scrolled.? When saving your images as .jpg,? you will probably be asked about image quality.? Save as a medium quality.? That will save quite a bit of memory also.? ? I usually save medium or through Photoshop, about 6 on a scale of 12.? ?

I think, if you attach a file, as mentioned in another post, you will have a link posted at the bottom of your post. Viewers can link on that. By using the photo button as described above, the photo will actually appear on your post. Is that correct?

Actually, if you use the method I described, the pic(s) will be uploaded from your hard drive and simply appear in the post. ;)

My confusion then.? I have seen a lot of links on the bottoms of peoples posts here.? I thought those were from posting as "Attachments".? ?It seems then, that the "Attachments" function is more for the uploading of your images to the TreasureNet server for hosting.? If you are hosting your own pictures or posting them from photo sharing sites, the little camera link might be best.?

Definately, however you post the link, preview your post to make sure you don't have errors in the URL address or typos... and make sure the photo is displaying properly. Or, that the server you are using to host your pictures supports posting in messages.?Posting as an attachment on this site, might be an answer to that problem.

I see a lot of pictures where it doesn't work when people use other sharing sites.? Also, I have frequent problems when sharing sites require registration or memberships for viewing.? ?I am one who doesn't like registering with every sharing group on earth to see all the photos.? Many of them lead to more spam, pop ups, adware and spyware....? I just suggest, post here via, attachment, or by hosting yourself and using the img codes. ?
