How do you get the avatar up and in there?

For the love of God help me , how do you get the avatars? How do you get them up and in the corner? Can you make up your own or post a picture? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Gooddog

I made my own in paintbrush, then animated it!
they have to be around this actual size though.

Okay, I figured out how to get to the proper page and I tried loading my own picture and it worked and everything, but how do you apply the changes? How do you get everthing to work? I tried clicking the "change profile" button at the bottom, but nothing happens

I stole mine from some internet page. I just right clicked on the picture and did a, save as, and saved it to my hardrive. I then reduced in size and posted it through my profile.

So, I didn't really find that big diamond, but I'm still looking

Did you reduce the picture? It should be about 90 pixels square, or there abouts.
