How do I post images to private Emails to other members?

Hello, how do I post pictures to members using private email through this site? Can't figure it out. Thanks,
Jim

Jim, great question.
I think I may have a work-around. If you have posted the image/picture previously, I think you might be able to:
1) Go to your post that has the picture and click - respond with quote.
2) copy only the portion that is to showing the image.
3) go to pm and paste.
4) cancel the reply with quote.

I have not tried it, but it might work.
Other than that,
Maybe a link to a server where you store the pics may work also.

You have to host the pictures on a third party hosting site to be able to attach the pictures to the email, cant attach them here like you can on posts. Haven't tried Idahodutch's suggestion but will do a test.

Idahodutch's suggestion does work.

What I have done is right click on an image in a post and select open "Open link in New window"
In the address field copy the URL <Ctrl+C>

In the private message click on the insert image icon.
Paste the copied URL in the dialog field <Ctrl+V>

Send.

Open two browser screens for treasurenet is the easiest way, start a post in first browser window, then write your PM attach the picture, then copy and paste it with the picture into a PM in the 2nd browser and hit send. Then if it is sent you can close or cancel the post in the first browser. Test it to yourself the first time to verify it works, it worked twice for me.

OK, Ill try it tomorrow, thanks guys8-)

i send them to my e mail ,then move them from there.

I just want to PM a member. Do I just click on the envelope in the upper right hand corner and type in his name??

Yes, once you start typing a list of members with name variations will appear.

Also with the new software, you can attach a picture to a PM just like you do to a post.
