I recently have found 2 pewter spoons and really have no idea on the age of them.they were found in soil mounded up against piled slate cellar holes,to which there is no information about.the town offices have no record of anything being built there.might be related to a slate mining operation in the 1860's or a trappers cabin.Does anyone have any idea of a possible age or period the spoons might be from, there are no hallmarks as the shafts are gone, the thinner shaft has a thin wire or core in it.

The second is a Parker and dates to the 1850's at least

well thanks for the information, guys. These items were pulled from a long forgotten about cellar hole, and lead me to believe there may be a lot more goodies hiding there.
