to find this on the freebie table. One corner of the box is torn, otherwise complete and in excellent shape. public.jpg

Good Lord! That game must have been pretty popular! The roles are overwhelming us now...

Lol. Some of those sell for over $100! I noticed quite a few listings said "banned". Nice freebie!

The game reminds me of a local story of a woman was arrested after showing up to the social services office driving her Mercedes. An investigation was triggered and it was discovered she was using 5 different identities and was collecting money for 23 children.

I don't normally mess with games. I knew this one would be a winner. The box was taped shut and I couldn't check the contents, but being free, what did I have to lose? :laughing7:

I HAD to look this game up, to see how it is played.

"A politically-motivated roll-and-move type game where players move around the board in two different tracks: "working person's rut" and "able-bodied welfare recipient's promenade." The goal of the game is to have the most money after a pre-determined number of circuits around the board have been achieved. The spaces on the board contain various instructions on where to move your piece or how much money to receive or pay out. Players also collect "welfare benefit" and "working person's burden" cards as they progress around the board. The situations presented in the game ridicule the American welfare system and are very "politically incorrect".

Gibh, how much do you want for it???? Omg, I think this is hilarious! How old is the game?
I'm going to ask my liberal father to get it for my birthday this year!!!! 😂😂😂

The game came out in 1980. They also put one out called Capital Punishment in 1981.

I heard once that...

I remember hearing about people showing up in South Carolina for assistance in their cadillac, pulling around the corner, putting a blanket over the windows, changing into rags, walking around the corner to get the assistance, walking back to the car, changing back, and driving off in their perfect, expensive caddy.
